For MLB Hall of Fame check collectors Christy Mathewson remains one of the hardest checks to complete a collection. This is a wonderful example of one of these checks. It was signed on February 1st, 1923 to R. H. Hutchins for a total sum of $13.95. It's pretty remarkable the signature has fared this well after it reached its 100 year anniversary earlier this year.
