Christy Mathewson Autographed Type 1 Signed Photograph
 
In terms of rarity for Christy Mathewson signatures, signed photos is up there amongst the rarest. This is a photo of Mathewson of what appears to be him throwing out a ceremonial 1st pitch in Saranac Lake, NY dated August 31, 1922. Saranac Lake, NY is where Mathewson resided while he was recovering from tuberculosis. The photo does have its cosmetic issues but remains strongly intact. It adorns a beautiful signature as well.
